my top picks currencly are:

Bitcoin - the first and the most widely accepted till date.
Ethereum - backed by JP Morgan, Microsoft, Cisco, BNY Mellon Santander, others..
Ripple - unique platform to improve efficiency at existing financial institutions, not revolutionize them.
Monero - built out of the crypto-community @ bitcointalk. uses CryptoNote protocol which differs from Blockchain.
