STEEM and SBD: The Steemit´s cryptocurrency.

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Good morning Steemians, today I come to talk about a topic that involves all of us who make use of the social network Steemit because, as you can see in the title, I'm going totalk about the cryptocurrency of this platform.

Currently, the Steemit social network has 2 major currencies: The Steem Dollar (SBD) and the STEEM. Both reward the work of thousands of users every day after getting a certain number of votes in their publications.

The Steem Dollar (SBD) is a cryptocurrency of the platform that currently has a market value of more than $ 10 per unit, making it one of the main cryptocurrencies to invest in online platforms such as, for example, Bittrex.

STEEM, on the other side, is another cryptocurrency of the platform that can be exchanged by Steem Power in order to, in most cases, increase the user's influence through a process called Power Up.

Is it really worth investing in these cryptocurrencies?

The answer is yes, both cryptocurrencies have experienced a growth in their market value over the past few days, generating, in the case of STEEM, its price to rise more than 1000%, attracting the attention of many enthusiasts and placing itself with a market value of , at the time, 4 dollars.

How can I get these cryptocurrencies?

The social network Steemit has a system that allows to create and evaluate the content of the authors, allowing in turn, the possibility of obtaining profits through cryptocurrencies as a reward for the quality of the content that has been uploaded to the platform by the author in question.

Is my money safe inside the platform?

Certainly, the social network has a high privacy and security system based on a peer-to-peer (P2P) technology, establishing a secure network against any type of external attack.

How can I change my funds invested in STEEM or SBD to my local currency?

Simple, after changing a certain amount of the cryptocurrency that is possessed at the moment to another that is supported by the exchange platform, a transaction must be executed. The platforms that, so far, I have known are Coinbase (which supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash) and LocalBitcoins (only supports Bitcoin).
