SwiftDemand.....Could it become a new cryptocurrency??

I recently discovered (through a good friend and crypto buddy) a new and upcoming entity, Swift Demand.

I decided to do a bit of reading after signing up and receiving my first 200 tokens for joining.

Apparently, Swift Demand is a concept of universal basic income and is now on the way to becoming a cryptocurrency. As long as you sign up for it, you will get 100 tokens. You get 500 tokens per referral. Switfts cannot be bought at the moment but it may be bought when it gets listed in the future.

They are planning to change it into a cryptocurrency (from a digital currency) that can actually be bought and sold. This might happen mid 2018 from what I read. At the moment you can gift Swift tokens to other users but you can’t buy them from an exchange.

Once you are signed up you will, as mentioned above receive 100 tokens each day. The concept looks like the one below.

The SwiftDemand blockchain is currently being implemented. Swifts cannot be removed from SwiftDemand yet. Once the blockchain is completed, withdrawals to external wallets can be made.

Once Swift becomes a cryptocurrency, all of the Swifts that you have at the point in time will be converted to the new cryptocurrency at a 1:1 ratio automatically. That's sounds pretty good to me.
