Blockchain Tech. & Cryptocurrency: The Future is here

After joning Steemit last month of August, today I started to invest in cryptocurrency through cloud mining genesis and hashflare ( only a 100$ just for a start to see how it goes) while I'm still educating myself more about cryptocurrencies & sharing to my fellow Steemians what I've learned so far.

WHAT IS BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY??
A blockchain is a distributed database that maintains a continuously growing list of records called blocks, secured from tampering, revision & solve the double spending problem for digital currency in the process.

WHAT IS CRYPTOCURRENCY?
It's a digital or virtual form of currency designed to work as a medium of exchange not just in the blockchain but now being used increasingly all over the world (the 21st century unicorn or the money of the future!)

THE BIRTH OF CRYPTO CURRENCY
Bitcoin - the first and still most important cryptocurrency invented by Satoshi Nakamoto around 2008-2009.

Nakamoto has claimed to be a man living in Japan, However, speculation about the true identity of Nakamoto has mostly focused on a number of cryptography and computer science experts of non-Japanese descent, living in the United States and Europe.

There are different ways to earn cryptocurrency:
