Turning $2000 into $1 million in one year. Is it possible?
Hello there!
I am a nineteen year old Canadian college student who started investing in cryptocurrencies last year. Looking at the top gaining ICO's of the past year, I was intrigued by the gains that could be made from them. The top gaining ICO of 2017, Populous, made a 205x return at its highest point. This would mean that a $2000 investment would have turned into $410,000 over only six months. While this would be an incredible return, the chances of choosing the most profitable ICO of the year are most unlikely. I wondered if there would be any way of making $1 million dollars in a calendar year, but I wondered how, since even the most profitable ICO only achieved $410,000 in six months. Then I came up with an idea of how to turn a $2000 investment into $1 million in one year. Many ICO's give at least 5x returns, especially if there is a lot of hype. One such example is BitDegree. The token sale ended on December 28th, and on January 13th it reached a 7x gain from the ICO price in just over two weeks.
Here is my plan: to achieve 5x gain on ICOs every three months. $2000 would turn into $10,000, which would turn into $50,000, which would turn into $250,000, which would turn into $1.25 million. Ambitious? Yes. Impossible? No. Many ICOs will achieve better than this in three months, but some will achieve less. ICOs are risky, and some might even turn out to be scams. Investing strategies for this plan will be different than investing in ICOs for the long term. The cryptocurrency market changes so fast that my plan may need to be altered at a later point to achieve the same goal.
I have been researching ICOs for quite a while, and the start date for my plan will be February 1st. By February 1st, 2019, I intend to be a millionaire. It is interesting to hear the selection criteria for ICO and the nearest plans. But personally I believe that this train left.

Thanks for your interest! When I research ICOs, I look primarily at the vision the company has, the team behind the vision, the competition in the specific field, the token supply, etc. I don't pretend to be an expert, but I will always explain my reasons for each pick.

I will be coming out with another blog today or tomorrow, explaining two of my ICO picks. Both of these ICOs open on February first, so that's when I'll be starting my investment.
