So far, I've only been day trading with about 20-30% of my portfolio. I think my shotgun approach may have gained me more than my day trading, though, since some coins vastly outperformed expectations (almost everything gained, though.)
Day trading is probably a bad term anyway. I've been using it as opposed to longer term trades, but I've kept most of my trades a couple of days to a week long.
The great thing about this though is that if you have ten different coins, then there are more opportunities for you to cash out the top performing one of the day and buy one of the lower performing ones.
Yeah I’ve done the same just a little bit, maybe two or three days I sell and buy three different coins. It’s worked pretty well, but like you said in general everything has gone up for the most part.
How much do you day trade? And how long do you wait after buying low for it to go high before you move it somewhere else?
