Why I Invested into PIVX at $1,04 | Creating Culture
I first got to know PIVX in the Slack channels of other tokens. Most of them have a trading group and lots of tokens come up in those groups. When people asked which tokens have the best community, PIVX came up every single time.
This intrigued me, because lately I've been hearing so much about "creating culture" in businesses. I've read, heard and seen too much to not consider it to be of high value. Of course PIVX is no business, but it does have a community and somehow they have created a culture that is positive, vibrant, helpful and passionate. Having a great community is often overlooked. They may say it's a bonus. I don't see it as a bonus. The people that make up the community all bring value to the whole. They tell others about it (like I'm doing right now), they hold meetups, make art, graphs, charts, memes and more. A great community is practical.
Then I started to look at the token itself. It's a fork from Dash which I wasn't too happy with. A fork is partly based on the original. It's like Dash is the father and PIVX the son. This doesn't mean that the son can't rise above the father, but the father is ahead. Check out PIVX & DASH - Comparing these two tech miracles and see for yourself which one you would prefer.
After I saw the chart in that article I was even more convinced that PIVX would be a good investment, so I invested into it.
39% of my PIVX I bought at $1,30 on May 13th.
61% of my PIVX I bought at $1,04 on May 16th.
I can't say that I bought at the most opportune time, since PIVX was in a bearish trend and it wasn't finished yet, but these percentages are not bad at all. It went down all the way to $0,74 on May 25th before it rose like a fucking phoenix.
