You barely scratched the surface of what is and/or will be possible with Ethereum. Furthermore, if you lookup which coins can actually compete on the network-effect level with Bitcoin (for example by tracking Ethereum and Bitcoin Meetups like I was doing here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/4epiks/ethereum_meetups_increase_from_20_to_25_of/) you'll quickly see that Ethereum is not only the ONLY alt coin which is viably competing with total Meetups versus Bitcoin but Ethereum is actually gaining on Bitcoin's Meetups.

Also, small MaidSAFE note that you kind of touched upon with "[MaidSAFE] has been a project in development dating back to 2006", but they still have a long long long way to go before they have a working product that the average Joe can use. So I'm sure they'll have plenty of price volatility in the short- to -medium-term however those of you looking to make a big killing off of MAID should go at it with a long, long-term view on it. Basically buy it, hold it and forget it.

Lastly, BitShares is an interesting trade here. They have a fantastically usable trading platform (like x.makerdao.com) and I'm quickly becoming a fan.
