I hear ya bro, nevertheless it's super simple to buy your coins and move them to MEW right after where you own your private keys, and if you wish, even move it to cold storage from there (Nano S). Nobody can steal them from you there, problem resolved
If the only exchange that lists the coin goes down, owning it is not valuable in the short term. Going to have to wait on this one until I see it pop up somewhere else.
