However, Pi has recently completed its pilot test for in-app transfers, allowing miners to exchange Pi for goods and services on its Pi Network.

According to the latest update by its founders, miners on Pi's network has exceeded 3.5 million.

It has been announced that the mining rate for Pi will be halved or fall to zero when the number of miners reach 10 million.
