Introducing DIMCOIN

I want to introduce you to a project I found out about quite recently - and I must say I am pretty fascinated by it. Since there are many ICOs going on at the moment and even the mainstream media picked up about them, it is a delight to find out about something that really sticks out from the rest. DIMCOIN I feel does stick out. The project has a broad approach and a wide focus - it's not just your "next Bitcoin"!

When browsing news about blockchain and ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) one finds all varieties of quality of information. When I found out about DIMCOIN I was astonished by the level of professionalism they show in their presentations. Their whitepaper(s) set a new standard when it comes to readability and explanation of their endeavors. The task is not easy at all since their blockchain ecosystem is quite complex and offers a full set of services ranging from a wallet, a coin up to a hybrid exchange. I try to sum up the most important facts in the following article. DIMCOINs vision is nothing less than to bring equity to the blockchain. Their blockchain ecosystem is built on the NEM-blockchain. Using NEM as an underlying technology is a win-win situation for both. The attention DIMCOIN gets also boosts the interest in NEM. What makes DIMCOIN unique?

DIMCOIN is unique in its way of handling fiat money with DIM currencies, cryptocurrencies as well as providing access to the hybrid stock exchange (HYBSE). The way the ecosystem is set up it provides for everything you need to invest, speculate and deposit assets in their system. It runs on a blockchain with a super active community (NEM). The NEM marketing team has focussed their activity on the asian market mainly (until now). But DIMCOIN is set up to be marketed more internationally.

DIMCOIN: Token and Currency

Initial investors receive tokens and coins for their investment. This duality is explained as follows:

DIMCOIN is a tradable and speculative cryptocurrency that is sent out with a calculated equivalent of $0.01 per coin. It will be listed on exchanges (Q4/17) and can be traded like BTC or ETH. Early investors get an extra amount to compensate them for their trust in the project. Please see the website for the current percentage - the first stage was 30% extra and an extra 10% extra in DIM if you invest using XEM. The total supply of DIMCOIN is 9 billion.

DIM TOKEN are like “shares” of DIMCOIN. For every dollar you invest you get an equivalent of 1 Token per $ invested and 100 DIMCOIN. If you buy/hold 50+ tokens you are entitled to a share of 30% of the total transaction fees that are generated on the DIM ecosystem. There are a total of 10,000,000 tokens available.

DEPOTWALLET

The DEPOTWALLET is a free wallet used to store, buy and sell everything within the DIM ecosystem (currencies, assets). If you invest using anything else than XEM you’ll need to open a wallet with them to receive your tokens and coins. XEM investors receive their tokens and coins in their XEM-wallet. HYBSE

The HYBSE is a “hybrid stock exchange” that features trading of assets, currencies and commodities. It offers listing for small companies without the hassle that comes with a listing in one of the classic stock exchanges. This is where you can invest and trade with your DIM and DIM currencies. How to get involved

Since the (pre)ICO is still running you can do the following things to get involved:

Invest in the ICO using Bitcoin, Ether, Dash, Litecoin, XEM, Tether (If you do invest, I strongly advise using XEM. Besides the bonus you get, it is the most comfortable way to do so.)
