From Profits to Purpose - Including a Shared Purpose in the EOS Constitution

Money without purpose leads to deflationary pressures. The obligation of any system is its purpose but is eventually replaced with a pure profit maximization strategy protected under law or a constitution, slowly destroying established networks by increasing concentration.

And under deflationary pressures this encourages inflationary policies to motivate the market to maximize new profits. Creating volatility due to changes in velocity.

How can we maintain the purpose of a Blockchain Platform Business Model? Maintaining the platforms purpose, I suggest, would increase trust and collaboration in the marketplace; unlocking new platform business models.

What if the concept of Life, Liberty, and Property was replaced with a more simple understanding that everyone is entitled to self progress within the context of an emerging system - such that you can't progress without health, liberty and property but that extreme property right qualifications can impede system progress, by diluting the initial shared purpose. (preventing us from discovering a higher purpose)

Purpose could be easily measured using platform economic principles. There's a shared data layer, and we could establish an shared purpose in the constitution within the context of an emerging system.

I'm planning to launch a Blockchain Platform Business model on EOS to decentralize higher education in non formal communities, called If When Then. And, I plan to introduce these concepts of value creation by defining a clear societal purpose - through the measurement of a core interactions (transfer of a product or service) and a supporting interactions. (purpose as a feature)
