Alt coin picks for this week #1
Started investing into bitcoin back in 2015. Like most of you when i first found out about the crypto market I only knew a few coins such as ETH, Ripple and Litecoin. I have seen many coins come and go, claming to be the next big thing. When investing into Cryptocurrency there are few things to look out for.
Things to look for
- Solid Dev team (checking out their Linkedin
- Good community backing it
- What is this company actually doing? and how realistic are their roadmaps.
- understanding what they are trying to do/ by reading the white paper
Everyone is claiming to know which coin is going to be the next big thing, and even I myself have invested into Scammy ICOs and coins which have seen downfall. No one is 100% going to earn money in this space. Sometimes you might find yourself down in terms of BTC, However up in Fiat.
Below are a list of coins that are am generally Hodling because I am excited for their upcoming releases in 2018, and will explain more on why I am hodling these coins.
- QTUM
On jan 3rd Qtum holders are going to benefit from a airdrop of united bitcoin which is roughly worth up to 400 usd. every btc holder would get 1 token. whereas if you hold 100 qtum you would get 1 united bitcoin. All qtum must be stored on their wallet in order to get the air drop. This is likely to push prices up, also the Dev team behind qtum looks pretty solid which makes it a must hodl for 2017 - Stratis
POS coming soon and with masternodes coming along, we could see a spike in price for Strat, Not to mention Strat is already a working product and soon companies can build dapps on their platform which is exciting to see. - Cardano
Labelled as the Ethereum killer, It does things Eth doesnt do, faster transactions and also one of the Dev that started ETh are the founders for Cardano which would be exciting to see what it does in 2018. - Vertcoin
With the one click miner recently released, we saw Vertcoin spike up 100%. However I feel like the coin is still very undervalued a have more space to grow in 2018
The crypto market will grow more in terms of market cap. However it is so improtant to learn how to take profit when you are up alot. the goal is to accumlate more kinds of alt coins, So when Mainstream adoption starts to kick in, You will become a millionaire haha!
