You can buy it from Bittrex, Bitfinex, Binance as well others. Either hold it there or send it to your NEO wallet to stake it for GAS.
More information about wallets is at NEO's website neo.org and you can find out how to stake GAS tokens from YouTube videos. Its actually not that hard especially when using their web wallet. REMEMBER to send only whole amount of NEO tokens as they are not divisible like Bitcoin is.
@davebrewer I basically, second everything @hotsauceislethal said and it's exactly the way I did it. Earning GAS is a nice little dividend on my NEO :-)
