Bitcoin Gold wants to further decentralize Bitcoin through GPU mining
at bitcoin blockchain is preparing for a new fork. It should give birth to Bitcoin Gold, a cryptocurrency containing Bitcoin transaction history and the Equihash algorithm, instead of SHA-256. Objective: reintroduce GPU mining and allow anyone to contribute.
More than ever, the Bitcoin community (BTC) is dividing. In addition to the bickering over the adoption of SegWit, then SegWit2X and those around Bitcoin Cash (BCC), a new test is on the horizon. This is a new hard-forkbaptised Bitcoin Gold (BTG), whose promise boils down to a slogan: "make bitcoin decentralized again".
