TOP CRYPTO’S FOR 2018

Good morning and Happy holidays steemians! Since the year is almost over, I wanted to share a few cryptos that I feel will perform well in 2018. No, I am not a financial advisor; but I will explain my logic behind backing each one of these cryptos. These coins are listed in no particular order.

BITSHARES - Bitshares is a decentralized exchange on the block chain. Bitshares have seen a pretty steady increase since the beginning of 2017. The fact that this platform can be used as an exchange and for banking is a plus. I’ve personally been on the exchange for about seven months and I really do like the functionality. BTS is currently $.60, so you can still get it at a great price.

SUBSTRATUM - Substratum is creating a decentralized web interface for use with a browser. To my understanding, this platform would allow for anonymity. So basically It would help users surf the web without being monitored. I am still researching this more, but so far I see great potential. SUB is currently at $1.13, so it’s still priced fairly low.

IOTA - Iota uses tangle technology instead of the block chain like most other crypto’s. The reason this is great to me, is that it solves the issue of scalability and there are no fees! This crypto has seen a fairly quick rise, and I feel it will just keep going up, this crypto has great technology and major backing. IOTis currently at $3.63

ETHEREUM - This is pretty much a safe play in my crypto portfolio. Ethereum is a decentralized platform for applications that does not allow for third party interference. Other cryptos like Modum work with Ethereum’s blockchain. When I last looked, ETH was about $711.19

VERGE - Verge is similar to Bitcoin, because like bitcoin, is wants to be anonymous. Verge boasts of 10,000 transactions per second. I took advantage of the steep drop in crypto’s the other day and grabbed a handful of verge. So basically you get fast, secure, untraceable transactions. Verge has climbed 800% in the past week. XVG is currently priced at $.21
