Have you seen the ripple price lately? It has doubled in the last two days and is currently at $0.55. Forecasts for Ripple speculate a year-end price of $3, but at this rate I won't be surprised if it hits the ten dollar mark.
I do not see this happening as 5$ would put it just 60 billion behind BTC at its current price. This would also make it the number 2 on the list, I can see however anywhere from 1-1.5
