Get Rich or Die's (Always) Fresh List of Daring DEXs (Decentralized Exchages)
A DEX is a Decentralized Exchange. This means that no single entity has control of the network the DEX operates on. In reality, the amount of decentralization varies. The following DEXs are used and trusted by members of the Get Rich or Die Trading Crypto Community. Any DEX failing to act in good faith or maintain its blockchain/contracts/dapps/etc will be removed from this list and an update will be immediately released. (This is not a guarantee or financial advice, just healthy links to DEXs that we use and monitor.)
These links go directly to the exchanges but you should always make sure you have an "https" connection before interacting with them and immediately bookmark the sites after clicking the links to help prevent future attacks.
Click on the links below to sign up at each DEX.
OpenLedger
The grandaddy of DEXs, OpenLedger, is built on the BitShares blockchain. We recommend it first because it has the most volume and supports great projects like Steem and EOS. The interface is brutal, but pretty amazing when you realize it works on the back of a blockchain. Once you get used to it, you'll be trading off the grid like never before.
CryptoBridge
Another BitShares DEX. Basically an OpenLedger clone but with different on/off ramps and currency pairs. (notably RavenCoin, watch for that one)
IDEX
The premiere Ethereum DEX. It runs on the Aura platform and one of our members is a community leader for idex so we def love them.
RadarRelay
Another Ethereum DEX. This one runs on the 0x platform, which we also love!
Bancor
And let's not forget Bancor. A fantastic Eth Dex with great liquidity and an amazingly easy interface complete with its own token- BNT. Count us in.
Please upvote, share and re-steem to help keep people safe from scams and hackers. And please leave any suggestions for our future list in the comments below. Now go get that crypto!!!!
What ??? A "sign up" ? This requirement (to sign up) perfectly proves that NONE of these listed above exchanges are really "decentralised"
A trully decentralised exchane do NOT requires any sign up or login.
Nor there can be a KYC, registration, central server, company or corporation in control, central server(s), centralised order book.
If you want to see what a 100% decentralised exchange must be, find yourself BLOCKNET DX.
IT already is operational, new coin pairs are ading every day, and new simplified SPV wallets are comin' in July.
I know only one DEX . Trully 100% decentralised.
#BLOCKNET DX
We understand that our choice of words may have been confusing but it looks like you didn't follow the links. None of these require KYC but every dex requires you to "sign up" or "sign in" somehow, even if it's just with a metamask wallet or ledger address. Feel free to ask us for help in understanding how these DEX work as it seems you are a bit confused about them. We also can't recommend the DEX you you posted as we've never heard of it and the volume and liquidity looks worse than even our smallest picks. Good luck!
I have my own understanding what DEX is, and nothing will change it. The rule of thumb is as simple as 2x2 :
A trully decentralised exchange is the one which do NOT requires any login, sign up or registration. Period.
Just as I need NO registration to use Bitcoin network.
When looking to identify if an exchange is truly decentralized, ask yourself these 10 questions:
If there is even one single "YES" answer to any of these questions, then it is NOT a truly decentralized exchange. Amen.
Glad to see your prompt response about your recommended DEX list @getrichordie. How does your group view exchanges directly inside the BitShares wallet?
While making no claim to crypto wizardry, I have successfully traded inside this wallet a number of times. For starters, the cost of these transactions is remarkable (very low)! I have also found them to be very fast.
I am particularly happy with the anonymity of using these and being "outside the box" of all the many regulatory agencies bearing down on the CEXes ...
You likely already have it, but if not, the "latest, greatest" version of the BTS wallet can be found here on GitHub.
Glad you saw it! Cheers!
nice article. I'm at crypto bridge staking my coins, well, it's not the bomb but I hope they will develop a lot more in future. s. error
I hope the DEX is the new model. Time to raise awareness, I'm promoting this post. WhaleBots incoming soon, upvote and reshare this post now for those curation rewards steemians!
Thanks as always!! You're the best @wilbur!!
Need more volume on open ledger. It is great to sell SBD earnings but takes forever to get a good price :-.
A decentralized exchange? Wow that's genius. I cannot believe nobody has ever thought of that before... I would most definitely be an active trader on a platform like this without having to deal with tech support from other regulated exchanges...
@a1mtarabichi do yourself a favour, find #blocknet
lol thank you.
In comment if you give upvote than ....is it helpful to earning...
Excellent friend
Nice list. I'd like to add the amazing-looking Kyber Network, found here
https://kyber.network/
Excellent! We like the project and many in our group hold KNC but we don't have an active members who use the network. We will post a request for some of our people to try it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
Its a fantastic thoughts of yours
