Blockchain summit from today - The Hindu

Blockchain experts and thought leaders from around the world are assembling here on December 6 for a three-day summit on collaborative opportunities in leveraging the technology for public good.

‘BlockHash Live 2018’, organised by the Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) at Hotel Uday Samudra, Kovalam, will provide a platform to promote research, development, and entrepreneurship in blockchain technology and offer an opportunity for global businesses in blockchain to ramp up their operations in India and Kerala in particular.

Discussions will be held on how to take local entrepreneurship to the global level through blockchain technology, and how foreign institutions, including banks, are effectively making use of this technology.

The KBA offers a training programme aimed at creating a vast pool of 25,000 blockchain professionals within the next three years in Kerala under the Accelerated Blockchain Competency Development (ABCD) programme.
