Top 20 Cryptocurrency Analysis for 2017

Happy New Year peeps! I hope your hangover is gone by now. If not, it means you didn't drink or didn't drink enough! Ha!

Based on the data in coinmarketcap.com and some Google Sheet actions, I've compiled a few Top 20 lists for your kind reference. Please be kind.

DISCLAIMER: Please be offended if you spot any scam coins here, but it's none of my problems! You can make a report to coinmarketcap but they also have a disclaimer! You can also make some noise on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook or anywhere you want.

DISCLAIMER 2: Although Tether is pegged to the USD and doesn't offer any actual gains, its value shown in these charts is reflected by its market cap, which gives you an idea on how influential Tether is. Again, please be offended if you think they are not legit, but it's none of my problems!

DISCLAIMER 3: Only coins that are actively traded recently are aggregated! ($10 million daily traded volume)

The growth value shown in these charts is based on 'times' not 'percent'. So if it states 100, that means it has grown by by 100x or 10,000%!

WAIT, WHAT? Isn't Bitcoin the highest gainer of all time? Of course. I excluded it on purpose because it would have distorted the chart too much otherwise. Since 2009, Bitcoin has actually grown by a staggering 18,531,151 times!

Wow! These coins were introduced in 2017 but have made good strides!

Although not included in the chart above, Bitcoin has the highest all-time growth rate of 6158x on a daily average, but in 2017, it only grew a mere 0.03x on a daily average over 365 days. Most of Bitcoin's growth came from the pre-2017 era!
Note: Growth in terms of %, not price. $1 to $100 is a 100x growth, but only a $99 increase in price compared to a $1000 to $2000 growth which a $1000 increase in price but only 2x in growth.

These coins have the lowest growth in 2017! What will happen to them in 2018?
