TRON Token Swap last call
The TRON main net launch is just over a week away. The project’s token swap isn’t anticipated for another few weeks, as the development team wants to ensure there aren’t any flaws in the main net before the tokens are moved over. TRON’s team is working with the exchanges that currently trade TRX and are getting them to support the token swap, which makes things much easier for the current ERC20 TRX holders.
Important : TRON (TRX) token holders asked to move TRX to cryptocurrency exchanges
The exchanges most used by current TRX holders, Upbit and Bithumb, will now be supporting the token swap set for June 21st. All investors need to do is make sure their TRX tokens are on the exchange before that time and they will be matched 1:1 with the new TRX tokens supported on the TRON blockchain.
Exchanges currently supporting the TRX token swap include:
Bibox
Binance
Bitfinex
Bitpie
Bittrex
Bixin
Coinrail
Coinnest
Gate.io
RIGHTBTC
Upbit
Zebpay
Once you have transferred your tokens to the exchange no need to worry as they will automatically be moved to the Mainnet from Ethereum. If you hold your coins on a hardware/cold wallet storage such as Ledger Nano S and MyEtherWallet it would be safe to transfer them to the exchange wallets. TronLabs is yet to give their stance on what is to happen to tokens stored on these devices.
The migration is to take place after the test of the Main net is complete from May 31, when launched to June 20th when the test period is completed. After obtaining the top 10 position on Coinmarketcap, Justin Sun, Tron Foundation CEO, stated in his ‘Letter to the Tron Community on the progress of Tron’s Main net and Ecosystem’ that the token now aims at reclaiming the top 6 position it briefly held in January. The Main net will be one of the main drivers to reaching the goal by end of the year as scalability is enhanced as it moves from the Ethereum platform.
So ...what are you waiting for??? Move that Tron quickly!!!
Play it safe and be cool !!!
