Did Satoshi Nakamoto really delete his bitcoins?
It has been said for years that Satoshi had deleted his coins, as they posed too much of a liability to him personally. This thought is of course relevant because he has such a sizeable sum. Others believe he was forced to delete this vast fortune for the betterment of the bitcoin itself, and that it was necessary for the value to reach a point in which it could finally substantiate itself.
Both of the aforementioned theories of why he deleted his bitcoins is supported by valid reasoning, and we also know he has not spent them for several years, perhaps after this or another realization.
Do you believe he really did delete them like so many believe? What other reasons may people have missed in this assessment?
Please Upvote and Follow if you could, as I am pretty new to Steemit! Thanks!!
Greetings from Las Vegas!
You would assume he had to delete his bitcoin (or lose it) or else you would have seen him hedging out of bitcoin some over the years. Since there hasn't been any movement on his accounts for some time, I doubt he's waiting.
What level of billionaire would he want to be? Wherever he is he's probably kicking himself now.
Or worse, he has all of them and is the richest homeless person ever. But lets be honest, I'm sure he bought more when it was just a few dollars lol.
But why ?
I think he don't delete . only a dumb can do this.@extrospect
thanks.. amazing story!
When I was at the bitcoin conference, that is exactly what they said! I thought they were kidding, I guess not.
