E-coin... This doesn't look fishy at all... (sarcasm) - 3111% increase in last 24 hours
This is one of those increases that is so sharp it immediately evokes a WTF reaction. Most cryptos have started going up again after the decline, but this one is through the roof and into outer space.
So as I write this I am looking to see "What is this?"

E-Coin is a decentralized and proof-of-stake algorithm based.
ECN coin uses a special algorithm called the POS to secure the ECN Coin network. The moment you acquire ECN Coin it becomes an interest bearing asset with 120% return per year through PoS minting.
That announcement is from a year ago. That's a lot more than 120%.
I don't know much about this one, and it isn't on any markets I participate in, but it certainly is a big WTF moment and I thought it worthy of posting about it to see what other people know, or think.
Yeah, just pump'n dump. Look at the volume. 16 Bitcoins..

Ive watched Mr Robot. I know how this one turns out LOL, stay away from Evil-Coin! The volume is low still and ya its not on any good exchanges really. I am guessing this will be viewable tomorrow in the biggest loser list!

A good ol fashion pump and dump. A lot of people get into a Telegram chat or Discord chat, they get thousands of noobies in there and tell them all to buy a coin. It is a huge gamble because most people will lose on it, but others will get huge returns. Whoever buys in first and sells while price is sitll going up makes a killing, but the other people are left holding a coin that has no bvolume normally and they lose a huge %.
One my buddies goes into those Discord chatrooms and there is thousands of people there. The mods of it ban anyone who cries about losing money. They advertise for it to draw in noobs from facebook/twitter. The mods themselves already know what the coin is in advance, so they buy it up a day beforehand, then they put in sell orders for like 5x ot 20x what they bought in for. Then they tell the noobs to buy it, everyone goes into frenzy mode and drive up the price.
The one my buddy is in does this everyday on a different coin at 5PM EST. We both know it is a huge gamble and we don't actually buy the coins, we just watch and observe what they do.
I am thinking that is exactly what this is for this spike.
This happens when just some people own a coin and are able to control the price :)
Probably a pretty classic pump and dump by the devs.
