Bitmain A3 vs Obelisk SC1 - The end of Siacoin?

New miner from Bitmain just announced.. promises roughly $300 per day.

For those with short term memory, what happened with the Antminer D3. Promised insane profit per day, week, month, year... you jumped into the fire and likely got burnt.

At present the D3 only does about $11 per day down from about $100 per day. When they first announced it, ~$200 per day.

My advice you're better off buying the coin, and holding.

If more blake2b algorithm's were available it would be fine. Like Scrypt or Sha256... but X13, X15, X17, blake2b, Neoscrypt, etc.. not enough demand.

Maybe the future of mining will be (Delegated) Proof Of Stake after all.
Dont be a sucker in cryptocurrency, cause it seems like a Sia Hard Fork is coming up as well.
