Accidentally Transferred my SBD to STEEM Memo on Bittrex :( Help!
I screwed up!
So I was trying to transfer my funds for the first time, cause I was thinking I could learn how to do this and trade it into BTC. I think I did it totally wrong :(.
After submitting my request and waiting 30 minutes, still nothing was deposited into my account.
I am pretty sure I stupidly transferred my SBD to my STEEM memo on Bittrex. I thought I verified that I was transferring STEEM not SBD lol, but I guess I was wrong. I sent a Bittrex support ticket. We'll see if this problem can be fixed? I hope I even pinpointed the correct error - I found there is no Steemit support so I can't even verify if this were the mistake I made or if I did something even more stupid.
Anyway, has anyone had this happen to them? Does anyone have advice? Thanks!
It hasn't happened to me cause i don't own any crypto yet.But i am interested in what you wrote as i wanted to own cryptos. But the security of our cryptos is up to us. The other day 214 million in Etheream was "lost".In July 2017, 23 million ethereum was wiped.So there is a lot of hype regarding Bitcoin price shooting up and people are rushing in.But how safe is our crypto? How can we secure it?
