Minds — Crypto rewards social media website

I signed up with (Minds](https://www.minds.com/register?referrer=leotreasure) in 2015 but forgot about it until recently. I missed their crowdsale unfortunately but am hopeful their tokens will trade soon.

Minds is great, a much better alternative to Facebook; it rewards you for submitting fresh content, which is what I used Facebook for in the past.

Here are some pros and cons

Pros:

• You get paid for uploading writing/links/pictures/music/videos in tokens that may be worth something in the future
• You can use these tokens to boost your posts, effectively getting free advertising
• There are a number of different ways to find content (Channels, Tags, Images, Videos, Groups) and Chat
• The content can include NSFW if you enjoy that
• The algorithm is not monitoring your likes so you get a lot more diverse content compared to Facebook

Cons:

• 100,000 Vietnamese people suddenly joined recently and there is no language filter yet. They are working on one but the consequence is for that for now there is a LOT of Vietnamese posts
• It’s hard to get your posts seen unless you have a number of subscribers, post your content to various relevant groups, or use the ‘Boost function’

There are bugs and missing features and the team seems pretty slow at implementing fixes.
