What even are "safe GPU temps"? OUTSTANDING RESULTS
I'm a miner. I'm worried about my cards safety. What temps should I shoot for?
I grew up thinking 70 Celsius because thats what I read. Everywhere, everyone said 70 Celsius.
But then people started saying 80 Celisus. And so I followed that.
There were people who had a more convincing argument. Maybe it was the rapid heating and cooling of the metal. That loosened solder, and damaged the card.
So the RATE OF CHANGE of the cards heat was the problem, not so much the temperature.
But as a miner... we dont worry about that.
What is our safe temp? VERIFIED RESEARCH
Outstanding study done by Texas Instruments
Processors can last for 10 years under 105 celsius, and 20 years at 90 celsius
GPU TEMPS ARE PERFECTLY SAFE AT 90 CELSIUS
