I know it's slightly confusing, but stay with me. So the BRAVE browser is well, a browser, except it doesn't have any advertisements. Yes, NO ADVERSISMENTS That includes on YouTube, not a single ad will pop-up when you watch a video. It also doesn't allow outside parties to track you and save cookie. This makes this browser the fastest out there because it doesn't have to load ads and share bandwidth with other tracking software. It is a welcomed change to see my favorite webpages with no ads. In short, Brave keeps track of your most visited sites and creators and then you can, if you choose pay those entities in BAT, however much you want. Maybe you read the New York Times and Breitbart everyday and since they are missing out on the ad revenue, you send them a dollar worth of BAT every month. It also allows you to pay individual creators on YouTube directly. Therefor they get the proceeds and not google.

This is why I will be purchasing BAT soon. I want to buy a little just to experiment and start supporting some of my favorite websites/creators. I want to support this blockchain because I believe it will change the industry. I will be investing and I recommend considering for these reasons.

BAT is one of a kind.

BAT, BRAVE, and corresponding block-chain is unlike any project I have seen or read about since my year in the crpyto space. It is similar to Steem in its uniqueness, and its prospective market. It also is extremely practical, with the project engaged with real world use already.

The team behind BAT

The founder of this project is the creator of freaking JavaScript, yes you read that right. He also co-founded Mozilla and Firefox. So, a master programmer with a history of innovation and the creator of one of the largest browsers in the world is the lead on this project. Couldn't be a better person in charge. The rest of the team is also very experienced and talented.
I'm not sure what else people are looking for in a cryptocurrency, but down the road, as other cryptocurrencies rise and fall, BAT won't waver. I don't think this coin will explode anytime soon, but when it does, it will emerge as one of the best projects in the crypto space. And while other platforms rely on more volatile financial trends and massive adoption, along with competing with many other similar coins/tokens, BAT stands alone.

I strongly believe in this new token and I'm sure it will continue to grow. I see a lot of promise, but also a lot of integration already, I will be following it closely. There are a lot more development come 2018
