ICO too hot to touch right now?

I'm fully aware that the ICO market right now is very very overfunded. I even suggested people to skip some of the most hyped ICO's of last week, Why I'm NOT buying Status, Skincoin and CIVIC.

But overheating of the market doesn't mean that we should stop making money. There will be always hidden gems waiting to discover them. It's not like we go or 100% in or we stay 100% out of this business. Of course it gets harder and picking up something worth investing will be harder and harder. But if we pick right then return could be amazing.

I've found another gem!

If you paid attention to my previous posts then maybe(I hope so!) you had invested in Veritaseum. I wrote about it There is an ICO that nobody talks about.... It went quite famous, got some buzz on Twitter (retweeted by VERI team) and finally got me $14000!

This time I see a great potential in Populous ICO.

It came across my desk just yesterday while I was reading new Cliff High rapport. His recommendations are following:

They offer 36 000 000 PPT altogether in pre and ICO and price of 1 PPT = 0.0011 ETH so max cap for the crowdsale is 36 900 ETH and 12 400 000 in USD (at a current rate of 337$ per ETH).

Total supply will be 53 200 000 PPT and there will never be more tokens.

There will be 22% tokens (12 000 000) for the Populous team but locked up in escrow for a year.

ICO tokens accounts for 68% and the remaining 10% will be distributed for research (3M), business development (2M), bounties (624K) and reserves (30K).

Team tokens must be subtracted from the total when we calculate market cap so 41 200 000 * 0.0011 ETH = 45 100 ETH which at current ETH/USD rate gives us 15 000 000 USD.

That would not be even 100 top on coinmarket cap. In fact that would be just 131th place, same as total shitcoins...

I expect Populous market cap after launch anywhere between 100M to 200M USD.

Main crowdsale will open on July 16 and will last till august 15.

But to be honest there will be no ICO because pre ICO will be enough to fill max cap.

Minimum investment in pre ICO is 5 ETH.

Pre ICO is offering bonuses:

2% for over 5 ETH investment

5% for over 26.74 ETH investment

10% for over 53.47 ETH investment

20% for over 107 ETH investment

Pre ICO already collected 17 800 ETH which is currently worth 6 000 000 USD and accounts for roughly 50% ICO. Over 5M USD have been collected last week.

In just two weeks and we still have over three weeks till the ICO starts. So it most likely won't start because 36 900 will be collected before the end of this month.

Buying instructions

To buy PPT tokens you can use MyEtherWallet and just execute a transaction.

Go to Pre ICO website: http://populous.co/ico.html

Choose the right address depending on the amount of ETH you wish to invest. Remember that 5 ETH is minimum.

Remember to fill data field by clicking +Advanced: Add Data.

Use 200 000 GAS.

Execute transaction and wait till the end of pre sale to get your tokens. It's ECRC20 so you will just add a custom token in MEW.

Risks

The biggest risk is ETH price which might drop more before Populous will hit exchanges. You might wait if you believe that ETH price will drop more but then you risk that PPT will get sold out.
