Wounded Warrior Coin (WWC) | The Coin in Honor to our Heroes
Every now and then, various coins and projects are being conceived. Each has its own purpose or even advocacy. It varies from plain commercial use to helping a certain sector in our society. But, I have never seen one that aims to help a sector that plays a big role in the nation’s security, the nation building, and even keeping the world a safer place. That is the sector of our Military Services.
Military Service Men are one of our daily heroes. They swore to uphold our constitution, defend our rights, and offer their lives in service to the people and to the nation. They are always on guard and sacrifice their personal lives to serve their duty. When wars or chaos break out, they are ready to be deployed rigorously but they sometime come home wounded, physically and mentally.
Our service men needs support to regain themselves. To recover from their wounds. To be rehabilitated and live normal lives again. This process needs funding from the government and private sectors too. One the non - government organizations helping our soldiers is Wounded Warrior Project which gets its funding from donations.
And so, Wounded Warrior Coin (WWC) was conceived. WWC is not related to nor under the directive of Wounded Warrior Organization. WWC is a crypto currency built in the spirit of helping Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) by donating staking revenue and miner contributed donations.
