The Best Long & Short Hold Cryptocurrency of 2018

I wanted to get a bit of a community discussion going on regarding the best long and short hold cryptocurrency of 2018.
Rules of engagement:
You are only allowed to post one cryptocurrency (Your favourite) and the reasons why you would recommend it above all others for long term prospects or short term profits in 2018.
I will do a weekly tally and update the post here every Monday with the top ten voted cryptocurrencies of 2018.

I'm a big believer of Substratum for a 2018/19 hold. Solves the problem of centralised web censorship by decentralising web hosting, which could be huge in countries like China where huge browsing restrictions apply. Earning SUB by hosting a node is also a big draw, plus a cracking looking team behind it.

Maybe you should add a stawpoll or similliar to make vote easy.
As of right now i think Iota Ripple and ICX can be the big winners of 2018.
I'd prefer a human touch and besides others can then see people's reasons for voting their fav coin. Also you're supposed to just vote up one coin as per the thread details.. so which would it be? Cheers
