Ripple Announces “Swell: The Future Is Here”

The countdown finally ended and today Ripple revealed what the big news is.

Ripple announced an event to happen on 16th to 18th of October 2017 called “Swell: The Future Is Here” which will be held in Totonto, Canada.

The conference is the coming together of blockchain and banking leaders who are committed to revolutionize the international payment system.

Their main subject speakers are Dr. Ben Bernanke, Former Chairman of the Federal Reserve System and Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web.

Many more speakers will attend the the said event and the full agenda will be announced by Ripple on the 12th of September.

An Automated Mobility Service on the Blockchain

A new idea on mobility service has emerged using the blockchain technology.

The Toyota Research Institute is currently working on creating a technology where people will no longer care to buy his/her own new car but rather, in just a click of a button, a car will show up in a short period of time and the automated car will take you wherever you want to go.

The project will implement identification and reputation system of both the car and the passenger by using the blockchain technology.

Also, Toyota envisions an ecosystem of other services such as recharging, car washes, insurance providers and more wherein not only provided by the company but also third parties.
