$1 Trillion Annual Trading Volume In Bitmex

in #cryptocurrency5 years ago (edited)

The annual trading volume at Bitmex has exceeded $1 Trillion according to a tweet Arthur Hayes shared with his followers on twitter.

This comes at a time when Bitcoin futures trading volumes explode to record highs in other futures trading platform like Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).

BitMex is a popular Bitcoin Futures trading platform for its high-leverage margin trading where users can execute 100x leverage trades on Bitcoin futures and perpetual swaps.

The exchange has now seen more than $1 trillion traded last year which is a stunning feat in itself considering the whole crypto market was bearish for most part of the year.

Hayes also took the opportunity to call out Nouriel Roubini whom he is scheduled to debate at the Aisa Blockchain Summit.
