1- Chinese Government Launches Blockchain For Authentication

China has been known for their negative opinions about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain. But at the same time, they've also lately announced that they're looking to launch their own blockchain product.

Now, yesterday, the Chinese Government has launched a blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) platform for identity and supply-chain tracking. The basic idea of the BaaS platform is to serve two main purposes: storing static data and recording changes to that data.

2- Monero Is Going To War Against Big Miners

ASIC, a high-speed hardware has been used to secure bitcoin transactions for years, but now, mining hardware manufacturer Bitmain has recently announced a new model, the Antminer X3. The model has been purpose-built for mining the cryptocurrency Monero (XMR).

What's interesting is that rather than welcoming the new model, Monero will go to enact an emergency software upgrade in April meant specifically to change the rules of the system so as to block the effort entirely.

3- Crypto Exchange Huobi Registers With FinCEN

A crypto exchange Huobi is planning on rolling out a crypto-to-crypto trading in the US this spring.

Now, Huobi's U.S.-based operation has registered with the U.S. government as a money services business. HBUS Inc. is registered with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network as of Mar. 21, according to the U.S. regulator's database.

4- Upbit Launches Korea’s First Cryptocurrency Index

Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, has announced that they're launching the country’s first cryptocurrency index.

Upbit is launching the UBCI (Upbit Crypto Index), first domestic cryptocurrency index in a bid to help crypto investors better understand overall market trends.

Another day, another set of news. Nothing huge, just some normal FUD, and a few positive ones as well. Markets are bloody... A lot of red everywhere. Many people I've talked to believe that this will continue tomorrow as well. What are your thoughts? Are you bullish or bearish for the short term?
