BitcoinCash BCC pending a mere 22 hours on Bittrex.. a tough night at Trader Joes became tragic...

Last night towards the end of our night shift something horrible happened. With his Bitcoin Cash (BCC) pending for ONLY 22 hours and with a mere 2 confirmations to go on Bittrex we lost a great crew member Trevor, in a sudden tragic horrible moment near the Pinot Noirs, he took his life when he heard that his Bitcoin Cash had dropped from $900 to $200 while stuck awaiting his 20 confirmations on Bittrex... He just lost it and ended it all... RIP Trevor!!! And with just 2 confirmations to go... so sad!

I also couldn't take it anymore and followed his lead... it was just too painful awaiting these ridiculously slow confirmations, I guess the 2 guys in the back office at Bittrex were hand counting them all it seems.. and my little Bitcoin bonus dropped 75% while in transit. This was going to pay for our fallen backyard fence, and we were going to finally fix that leaky faucet in the shower, and get braces for Courtney... My wife was going to kill me for keeping our BTC on the Nano, so I went ahead and did it myself - or at least tried to. Alas I did survive to sell in the high $200... C'est la vie...

Honestly I am the Wine guy at our Capitola California Trader Joes...theSection Leader which is actually A LOT of fun and keeps me is good physical /mental condition - I love it- it's a great low pressure gig and I enjoy what I do very much. Also and most importantly I love my fellow Crew members and Mates (managers) as they have become like family to me. Man... you should hear the break-room conversations... so damn funny. I came in to work yesterday and found this waiting for me written on my wine backstock

Anyway I hope some of you were smart or lucky enough to have kept your BTC on Bittrex before the Fork/Split to Bitcoin Cash. A Crypto lesson learned the hard way... now I know, that WILL NOT happen next time. Peace and Love my Steem Friends
