Why I added to my Kucoin Shares - $KCS - position today

So, quick breakdown on Kucoin Shares, Kucoin pays anyone who holds 6 or more $KCS in their account with more $KCS. Kucoin uses 50% of the trading fees each day to purchase $KCS to distribute to holders. Let's do some quick TA.

If you look at this one month graph, you will notice a clear divergence here, where there is quite a gap between the USD price the $BTC price. With this recent Bitcoin bounce we have seen it start to pick up some of the alts as well, but $KCS hasn't really caught up yet. One reason for this may be some unplanned downtime that happened last night and some panic selling. I used the site today and would say it is working fine. As a matter of fact, I have come to prefer Kucoin over Binance. If you are a small trader like me, the perks are much better. I don't have any chance against the whales in the Binance trading contests, but Kucoin rewards users who follow their social media with contests and even though the prizes are small, in many of them everyone who participates wins something.

Kucoin recently changed their $KCS bonus program due to users preference. It used to be that every day you would get a variety of coins based on what people were trading. I liked this previous system better, but people voted the other way so they changed it. You saw a considerable bounce when they announced the change and now we have pretty much a full retracement back to previous levels. My initial entry was at 45k sats and today you can get in around 33k sats, so it is a good average down move for me. Also, I noticed something in their last announcement:

More features, you say? I am guessing, one will be a sweep function where you can consolidate dust into $KCS as a lot of users have been requesting that, but maybe it's more than that. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw another bump when this news comes out "next month" which is only a week away. Also, unlike Tether, these shares grow every day, again, providing you have 6 or more.
