Crypto News Flash #260: French Tobacco Shop Authorized To Sell Bitcoin Starting In January 2018
Cryptocurrencies have always remained a thing of speculation since the beginning of space. We have all seen the huge ginormous growth of Bitcoin price from $1000 to almost $20,000. But 2018 has done the opposite for crypto space as price of Bitcoin has plummeted from $20,000 to almost $4000 and still wavering around that range.
All the Bearishness in the market doesn't affect the fundamentals of the market as daily new start-ups are beinf set up by crypto enthusiasts. But France has done something amazing in crypto space as it is authorizing tobacco shops to sell crypto coupons starting January 2019.
Under the auspices of the Central Bank, the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution – ACPR), is the institution charged with monitoring the transactions performed by banks and insurance companies in France.ACPR has officially authorized the Federation of tobacco shops to begin selling bitcoin at the start of 2019.
In the beginning, only 3000-4000 shops will be equipped with this facility and eventually more shops will be authorized to do so.
These crypto coupons will be available for a price of 50, 100 and 250 Euros.
Well, this kind of widespread popularity of crypto space indicates that market may found its bottom very soon and we might expect some kind of Bull run in 2019.
