RE: The Rise of IOTA - Why it can and will pass Bitcoin very soon - Simple Introduction
Thanks @steemhoops99 really good post and introduction to IOTA!
I do think it has a lot going for it, but I think it is too complex for less advanced users right now.
I held IOTA myself until very recently, but offloaded it as it wasn't very user friendly. I did my homework and had everything setup, but even just creating the password for the light wallet was a mission.
I'm sure I may well regret getting rid of it, but I'm a believer that you should always be 100% bought into the product of your investments to make them work. I couldn't even bring myself to discuss it with friends (who are also into crypto) as it would have meant writing a manual to help them understand it, buy it and install wallets.
Once this barrier has been removed and it starts being adopted, there's no doubt it will challenge everything we currently do in the crypto market.
I feel you buddy it takes a bit to get used to the GUI. The recent upgrade and the more coming in the next weeks will make it a lot easier for the "average user". If you have some friends that need help make sure to send them here i would love to share some wisdom:) Ps: 100% the adoption will come. We need to spread the news^^
Thanks, I will certainly send them here if they need some help.
I know it's going to the moon, but I'll have to wait to join the rest of the world as I said. I do think it is a fantastic innovation. I love the way you called out that there would be much less energy used to run it - that's a big thing for me as current mining techniques for BTC and the rest are too much to stand when you think about it.
Thanks again for the post. I've resteemed to try get some more coverage and commentary on it.
