Top Coins in June.jpg

June is just around the corner and it is also the end of the second quarter for the year. A lot of roadmap milestones are ending Q2, and there are several big events e.g. mainnet launches that I think will make June the most exciting month we’ve had this year so far.

As always, Il take you through some of my top picks for the month now, and this is not based on personal preference, but based on roadmaps and upcoming events.

There is a video link at the bottom for those who prefer an audio version

1. VeChain

1.png

Our first coin to pay attention to is VeChain! Everyone knows Vechain, the biggest Blockchain supply chain project, but also one of the leading public Blockchains.

2.png

VeChain is expected to launch their mainnet by the end of June and mainnets are always a big news for any platform, because it is basically the biggest technical milestone the project will have in their history.

At mainnet launch, current VEN tokens will be changed to VET tokens, with 1 VEN tokens worth 100 VET tokens. The actual proportion and marketcap will remain the same, it’s just a shift in decimal points to a smaller unit for more token use case.

Mainnet should also mark the start of Proof of staking and masternodes earnings with VeChain, so this is going to be huge. Details are not out yet, but definitely keep your eye out for that. VeChain is a very popular project and I imagine a lot of people will be trying for a masternode.

3.png

VeChain has also been building a lot of momentum, just yesterday they announced a partnership with Lingang International Manufacturing Exhibition Trading Centre, and 2 days before that, they were announced to be used to verify Wine origins and fight counterfeit wines in China. They also recently won a technological award at LVMH Innovation award (just a few days ago) and they also just got listen on Bitmark Exchange recently as well. So definitely a lot of momentum for this project going into mainnet month, and I am expecting VeChain to have a big June.

4.png

Currently VeChain is sitting at $3.06. You can see a strong support line at the $3.50-$3.60 price point, which it recently fell through. Personally think anything below $3.50 is a good buy for VeChain. So $3.06 is a very attractive price point before mainnet I think. Not professional advice, just my personal opinion.

2. High Performance Blockchain (HPB)

5.png

Moving on, my second pick for the month of June is High Performance Blockchain or HPB. I think HPB is the fastest Blockchain platform that is seriously undervalued at the moment.

HPB utilises both software and patented hardware to achieve super scaling. Currently in testnet with only software, they are already doing 10k trx/sec which is way faster than almost any other platform. With hardware complimenting the system they are expected to achieve millions of trx/sec in the near future. In my opinion, they are way ahead of any other Blockchain platform out there in terms of technology.

6.png

HPB mainnet is due by Q2, so the end of June, so that’s going to be huge. Mining with HPB will require special hardware designed by them, details of this is not out yet and this feature may not be available by mainnet.

7.png

The other hot thing about HPB is they have a recent partnership with Union Pay which is China’s largest financial data company. To give you an idea of how big this deal is, Union Pay handles more than 80% off China’s annual banking transactiondata and their annual transaction amount is actually more than Visa’s and Mastercard’s combined. The rumoured launch date for this combined project is in July, so we’re hoping to hear more news in June, and there’s a lot of anticipation that June is going to be a huge month for HPB.

8.png

I’ve been following HPB for a while, so I’m quite familiar with their price action. Last month HPB was fluctuating between $3.40 and $3.80. $3.40 seemed to be a very strong resistance line. Over the last few days with the bear market, they finally dropped below the support line and are currently sitting at $2.88 which is almost 20% less than the support line. I personally think this is a very attractive price to get into HPB.

To me, this project isn’t a one month swing trade, it’s a long term HODL, it might go abit lower, but I think anything below $3 is simply a great buy for this project. They also aren’t listed on any big exchanges yet, if they ever get listed on a big exchange or announce a rebrand, the price will shoot up suddenly and we will likely never see these prices again. So HPB is definitely one of my top picks for the month of June.

3. Ontology

9.png

My third pick for the month is Ontology. Very popular interoperability project at the moment, specialising in identity verification. They are also expected to launch their mainnet by the end of June!

10.png

Ontology already has a pre-release of their mainnet on Github. It’s v0.8, so nearly done, it has POS, Virtual Machine Fee Calculation and a whole lot of other features advertised. So the chance of them launching mainnet in June is almost certain.

Ontology will have a second currency, the ONG token. It will work much like Neo and Gas, so Ontology tokens will generate ONG tokens when held in a wallet.

And the very attractive thing about it is the ROI. From a reddit post I read, apparently the ROI is about 10% annually! If this is true, this is huge! In comparison, Neo with Gas returns is only 3% yearly and Dash sits around 5-7% and that’s one of the highest currently. A 10% return on Ontology annually would be the highest I’ve heard for a good coin. If this ROI is true, it will definitely make Ontology one of the better long term investments on the market.

11.png

Currently Ontology is sitting at $5.70. Just a week ago this coin was about $7.50, so it’s dropped almost 25% in a week. I think anything under $6.00 is a good entry point for ONT based on recent times. This is a project that I think still has a lot of room to grow.

4. Loom

12.png

Our next coin is Loom! Loom is a second layer protocol built on Ethereum to help provide scalability and security and it is targeting games and social media Dapps. It is also integrating Plasma Cash technology which is the upgraded form of Plasma. So it’s hot technology that many people, including myself think will be game changing for Ethereum and there’s a lot of attention on Loom at the moment.

13.png

Now Loom as a project doesn’t believe in whitepapers or roadmaps, they do everything by announcements.
Coming up in June they have both the Loom SDK (software development kit) which is a core feature of the project as well as Plasma support being added on. This a very recent article so it does mean they are on track with the dates announced.

The will also be releasing 3 in-house games over the next 3 months, so possibly they could be announcements in June. And they’ve also hinted at some big-name projects currently building on Loom whom they can’t announce yet.
So lots to look forward to in Loom, June and beyond. I think now is still very early days for this project.

14.png

Like everything else, they took a big hit with the recent bear market, they are currently sitting at $0.32, which is pretty much where they were a month ago. Their marketcap is $197 million which is pretty big for a new project, but their technology is massive and game changing for Ethereum which is a $66 billion marketcap platform, so there’s certainly a lot of room to grow. In this bear market now, most coins are at very attractive prices, but Il definitely keep my eye on Loom!

5. Fusion

15.png

Next is Fusion. Fusion is an interesting platform that uses both POW and POS concensus.
They are also due to be launching mainnet in June.

They are also offering quite a high ROI, 8-10%, so I think this is an attractive project as well.

16.png

In recent times, Fusion has taken quite a beating in terms of pricing. I’m not sure why this is. It was previously ranked up in the top 50 and its ranked 83. Just two weeks ago, it was priced almost $10, and now it is sitting at $5.25. It’s a good project with no real reason, that I know of, to drop so much. So I’m expecting a big rebound when the market turns green. Couple that with mainnet month, I think June is looking bullish for Fusion!

6. QASH

17.png

Our next pick is QASH. QASH for those of you who don’t know is a decentralised exchange that is creating the Liquid Platform to aggregate all major exchanges in the world onto one single platform.

It is a very exciting and promising project. Their feature technology is the world book and Liquid platform.

18.png

And the Liquid platform is due to be released by Q2, so the end of June. This is like the mainnet for this project, and 5 days ago there was a reddit post that showed a BCH/ BTC pairing working on their worldbook already.

21.png

So there is high expectation that the liquid platform will be released next month.

22.png

Since the start of this year, with the continuous bear market, QASH has really been hit hard. At its peak in Jan, QASH was sitting around $2.50, right now its only $0.51. So almost 80% drop. It has so much room to rebound, all it needs is a big push to get back into the crypto community’s attention. If they are ever going to do that, Liquid platform launch will be that time. So il be rooting for QASH in the month of June.

7. Elastos

23.png

My last pick is by no means the least. In fact, it is one of my favourites, and that is Elastos.

If you’ve watched our Elastos video, you would know I think Elastos is one of the best projects out there currently. It is an internet based operating system that is designed by one of the creators of the .net and has been in the works since 2000. So that’s 17 years in the making.

24.png

Elastos is currently ranked 74 on the market and it is only on 2 exchanges Huobi and BCEX. The reason it is not listed on bigger exchanges is because there is a technology called SPV that allows for simplified transactions on exchanges that is under testing. That technology is due to be finished by the end of May, and the team has already twitted that they have been talking to exchanges and signed up with 7 exchanges!

This is huge. Being listed on one major exchange can do wonders to a token pricing. Being listed on 7 exchanges in a short period of time, would be unprecendented and simply huge. So I’m very bullish on this one piece of news.

25.png

Elastos’ price currently is $38.67, I personally think anything below $46 is a good buy, anything below $40 is a great buy. In fact once the news of listing on multiple exchanges is released, I think we might never see these price again. This is definitely a coin I have my eye on, both this month as well as long term.

So those are my top picks for the month of June guys. We’ve done review posts on all of the above projects except VeChain, which we will do shortly, so make sure you check them out.

One last thing I wanted to introduce to you guys, was a website I found recently that I think is helpful for people new to the crypto space. It is bestcrypto.tv.

26.png

It’s a website that gathers the best crypto youtubers videos into one place for viewing. The youtubers here are good youtubers, they are not the shilly fluffy content, it’s people I respect very much like Datadash, Crypto0 and more. So if you’re new to the cryptospace, check this site out, it’s a good site for good information. If you already have a list of favorites, still check them out to see if there’s any other youtuber you might like to add to your list.

The website is split into different categories e.g. ICO reviews, Crytocurrency reviews, Technical Analysis and more. Very easy to navigate.

And in case you’re wondering, no I’m not paid by this guys to promote this website, its just a good resource I’ve found. When I was a new investor I didn’t know how to find good crypto youtubers, so I just went with the ones who had the most subs, i.e. the biggest channels, and nowadays, if I had to choose again, my choices would be very different. So I think a website like this is a very good resource to help people find actually good reviews.

Alright guys, that’s it for me. Thanks so much for joining us. If you found this post helpful, do give us that upvote and follow and we have a donation link as well below if you would like to support me and this channel. I hope you’re having a great day wherever you are, take care and we will catch you again very soon!

Informative writing. Thanks for sharing your observation with us.

Great review, have to say I agree with Ven having a big June, just wrote a post about them. Do you think a 10% return for ONT is sustainable in the long run? HPB caught my attention, going to research it now because of your post.
