The Formula for Crypto Pumps is Counter-intuitive
When investing in cryptocurrency, you'd think that the projects with the most adoption and usable products might perform the best. That's where you might be surprised to find out that the projects WITHOUT a usable product, that trade almost exclusively on speculation are often the best bets. Let's talk about two tweets, one from Sicarious and the other from Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, that demonstrate this subject almost perfectly.

It is interesting, and truly the concept of unfinished/un-monetized products receiving tremendous valuation can extend beyond just crypto asset investing.
If you look at Facebook when it had its initial offering it was trading 70 times earnings without substantial mobile revenue compared to today, but five years down the road it was clearly a steal. However for every story like this there are probably many many others that did not turn out so well.
Disclaimer: Article author's investment disclaimer applies to this post. I am not a financial advisor, this is not personal advice. Investing in crypto currency and other equity is a very risky endeavor; risk includes losses up to (and even exceeding) the initial investment.
I also think that other market factors impact these assets as well. For example, some are thinly traded so any surge in demand will help them rise in value as there are no market makers to stablize prices in these exchanges. Also consider rewards correlates with risk so as we have also seen with certain assets, moves could go both ways. High rewards come with high risk.
Very cool video! Very happy to enjoy all this. I think, your ability about Cryptocurrency is unquestionable. Logical opinions and logical reasons. Although every investment there is a risk. Thank you my friend has given me a lot of enlightenment.
Thanks for the video. We are trying to get ahold of you, but can't find any contact info. Can you email or DM us? https://twitter.com/Billfodl_Wallet
Very well put together post. I also appreciate your podcast on Saturday calling out opportunists who promote a fork, then abandon it as soon as the something better comes along. Clearly these types of people are giving crypto a bad name. It's one thing to put in a noble effort and fail. It's something completely different to promote a project with the soul intent of bailing the minute you've milked it for as much money as possible.
