Crypto Market and Some Coin Predictions - 2018

I think people in general are starting to really listen to the possibilities and current technologies out there for blockchain, cryptocurrency and smart contracts. As I correctly predicted several months ago, we were just in the early adopter stage of the technology adoption. We have begun to transition into a more swift adoption rate of the early majority and then the very rapid late majority. I think we pass through these phases throughout 2018 & 2019. So where am I projecting the cryptocurrency market cap to end up for 2018, well my projection range is below:

2018 total cryptocurrency market capitalization: $6-7.5 trillion

With this said, the cryptocurrency market is going to be red hot for 2018 and gain a lot of publicity when it passes gold next year. Many people invested in cryptocurrency today that hodl through the huge upswing that is going to occur are going to be insanely happy with their returns. Some people think a this is the year that some of the smaller market cap coins that don't offer a lot of features will go away, but I don't see that happening in the short term this year. There will be too many gains in the market place and not enough people doing enough research for that to happen in the large rises this coming year.

With all of this being said, some of the top cryptocurrencies will perform very well this coming year. Say one of the top 20 coins like Neo for instance maintains it's current market share of .06%, it would rise to a market cap of almost 360 billion, which would price 1 Neo at roughly $6000. This year will see some insane gains for hodlers so just hodl and you'll come out a huge winner this year.

So I mentioned Neo above, which would skyrocket if it held value, but imagine getting in on a coin that will move up on the charts, not hold steady. If you manage to get a coin that is in the 100's that manages to move into the top 50 next year, you would be looking at a coin that will easily x1000 for you in that market place. This is why it is important to diversify with coins that you believe will rise and some that will hold tight in market share and ride the cryptocurrency technology adoption curve. The coins that I'm holding that are currently outside the top 100 that I think have real top 50 or higher potential are, SmartCash, Xtrabytes, Spectrecoin and Bitbay. With the market increase, a top 50 coin will likely have at least a 5 billion dollar market cap, so that would put these guys through the moon, with targets below if they hit top 50:

SmartCash: $7.00
Xtrabytes: $15.00
Spectrecoin: $250
Bitbay: $5.00
