it BTC dead in the water?

i'm kinda worried it might be. no real advantage to it as i've said before. people claim it is more secure because of hash power on network is huge. but that could change, it's not intrinsic. hard to see what the point of btc is anymore. i just use it as an unfortunate extra step needed to trade for alts.

but then again, marketing/name/publicity/public sentiment are meaningful at some level
