Signatum - Getting voted to novaexchange, come see what all the hubbub is about!
Hello everyone!
I wanted to give you all some information regarding a new project that I'm taking a leadership role in... Signatum!
What Signatum is... is a totally fairly released coin, built for miners.
The coin starts pure PoW, moves to hybrid after block 85k, then to pure PoS with 5% APR from block 100k onward.
SIGT has been listed on cryptopia since its inception a month ago, and has now been 250/250 voted onto novaexchange.com. The volume on cryptopia has been consistently #1, usually at minimal 2-3x higher than the second volume coin. We have been looking to get on other exchanges to extend our reach, and provide people more locations to acquire the coin.
The coin's focus is on security, and privacy, and all the traffic on the network is routed through one of the dedicated 4 tor nodes and out the tor exit nodes, to secure users' privacy.
Also, the coin has all logging disabled, and no IP addresses ever show. So no one knows who runs or where the other nodes are. This also means that transactions are untraceable.
SIGT has started just as a fair coin, no premine, no IPO, no dev fee of any kind. This gives it a leg up over ICO coins and others that are built with nefarious purposes in mind. Launched just like BTC was, except built to move FAST, in our fast-paced crypto world.
The first halving has already taken place at block 30k, halving the mining rewards... However, even WITH the halving, the coin is STILL most profitable to mine, given the STRONG community and market support.Everyone is expecting BIG THINGS from this project, and I know for a FACT, that BIG THINGS are definitely going to happen.
SIGNATUM MARKETPLACE
The SIGT market is in alpha, with a prep for release next week. The market is basically an eBay built specifically for users of SIGT. Where you can sell and buy items worldwide, with transfers in SIGT.
The market will have moderators to protect from illegal posts, and will ban with extreme prejudice anyone looking to scam or sell illegal items via the market.
SIGT may be an anon-privacy-focused coin, but that does NOT mean it supports illegal activity. We are merely protecting the privacy of our users, allowing them their right to privacy.
We are also prototyping a few new things that I firmly believe will be VERY pleasing to the members of the community. They will help to secure your digital world, and more.
lot of exciting stuff coming for this coin, and anyone who has already seen it, and taken advice, has already likely made good profits. But this is only the beginning for this 1-month-old project, there's still a LOT to come.
The community is VERY active, our discord is constantly busy, and growing by hundreds of members basically daily. With the reach of the members in the community, we have not even had to do any 'official' marketing really, to gain traction like we have... imagine when we DO!
I sincerely believe this project will be giving people many happy days, and providing some interesting surprises as well.
No pre-announcements will be done, unless we're 100% sure that the project pre-announcing will be released within the next few weeks. Therefore this project will be one that issues quite a few surprises.
Built the way crypto coins are supposed to be, with added security and privacy for its users. Marketplace only took a month to be custom developed, due to the large and dedicated team on the project, and this speed and awesomeness within the dev team isn't likely to slow.
Keep an eye on this one, it's going places.

I did some mining before the first halving. Got a small stash, but will hold and see what happens.

That would be horrible if they did that. The point of selling and buying anonymously is for trading illegal products and services. Safex has no moderators and has it's own anonymous blockchain, Signatum has to at least be able to compete with them if they want to be in the top 100.
appreciate the opinion, but being anonymous has nothing to do with being illegal. That is what SIGT is hoping to show the world. Anonymity doesn't equal illegality. Plus, would SIGT want to risk the whole project being shut down because of illegal items on the market? I think that's what safex is risking by doing that. If people think that a whole project can't be shut down, they likely need to re-think that, because I disagree. Especially if the project allows viewing of IP addresses of nodes. I haven't fully looked into safex, but I don't believe that being an illegal-focused market, will provide the coin with ability to be within the top 100. There will be more and more regulations coming down, and more and more the authorities will figure out what people are doing, know how to stop them, and IMO they will. Eventually.
We've seen what happens to almost every illegal market, and does it matter that the markets are hosted on tor and anonymous? No, it doesn't. They can and will figure out what is going on, then the markets will be shut down, and the people involved will be come after.
If you believe that safex will somehow avoid this, then by all means, do whatever you like there, but me personally, if that is how they are going to run their market, I would stay FAR away from it. Because it would mean that you're hosting a part of the market, not just using it... So that would make you liable as part of the infrastructure of said market. Which IMO is not a good thing.
Also, something that may not be realized yet with SIGT, is that the market is just a very small portion of the overall with the project, and as more comes to fruition, more shall be understood with what I mean by this. But yea, the market is not made to be an anon/illegal market, it is made to be a legit market with more privacy and easier to use worldwide than eBay.
SIGT will have many more things that come along in the near future that will show people what its focus really is. THEN people will realize that the market doesn't have all that much bearing on what will happen overall. Even if the market doesn't get popular for over a year, it doesn't matter, as there will be other portions of the project that will be able to propel it into the top 100 or beyond.
You just raised another concern by saying eventually authorities will be able to figure out how to get into private coins like signatum. That gives me the feeling youre eventually saying theyre going to be able to hack into your coin, and they'll be able to pull up all the transactions, even those made off your signatum market. I really want this coin to be the end all for private coins, I dont want a more secure coin to come out in a few years, because then signatum will go back down. I hope your other projects youre going to add will make signatum even more secure than it already is. Someone told me the market will be open source, so hopefully someone in another country can set it up and allow people to trade illegal things like Safex. The big mistake with Safex is they show their names and faces, but hopefully signatum will be better because some anonymous people from countries with more relaxed laws can set up a secondary signatum market for illegal things.
