Three Altcoins to Consider Picking Up While the Market is Down
While the cryptocurrency market is down it is a perfect time to pick up some altcoins at a discount before the inevitable rebound. There are many people that feel that they missed out on certain coins but now there is a perfect opportunity to buy these coins if you have the discretionary funds to reinvest in the cryptocurrency marketplace. If you still believe in the overall goals and vision of blockchain technology now is the time to take a chance on some great coins. In the past I've discussed some of the cheaper coins that are currently on the market but for this post I'm going to focus on some more reputable altcoins that have already shown some major gains throughout this past year.
In the middle of December this coin got to over $1,500 in value. For most of last year this coin was below $300 but much like the rest of the coins it has come crashing down since the start of the year. At the time of this post Dash is currently trading for under $600 per coin, which presents a great opportunity to pick up some coins at a fairly cheap price if you believe it will bounce back throughout the rest of the year.
Most of 2017 saw Monero trading under $100 per coin until the end of the year, much like Dash, it skyrocketed up to an all time high of nearly $500 per coin. It is currently trading under $230 per coin and many believe that the future could be bright for this altcoin.
This is a pretty interesting coin that has been on a roller coaster since its inception last year. I feel like right now this is the best time to pick up Bitcoin Gold because it is in the low $100's which is basically the lowest it has ever been. In its short history it has repeatedly gone up into the $300's and $400's before crashing down into the low $200's. But right now since the entire market is down it is at its lowest which makes it the perfect time to buy.

That being said, if you have the extra funds and you want to take a risk that could show great rewards, these three coins might be a good solid start.
