As expected...classic pump and dump scam pulled off by the infamous John Mcafee...I fear these types of schemes will become all the more common as the industry continues to grow.
This is why its so important for investors to educate themselves and not blindly follow the crowd when it comes to choosing where and when they should put their hard earned money into a coin.
If you bought verge at its all time high because one of your favorite youtubers told it was "going to the moon", you should very much re-evaluate your investing strategies. A sports team mentality is not a sound investment protocol, especially in a market this volatile.
