My Dream- An Intentional Community (In Planning) that brings together simpler living and cryptocurrency.
I'm 31 this year. Thirty one years on this planet and I find myself wondering, what's next? Out of high school, I got a union Job (tree-trimmer turned Electrician), saved up and bought a house. With all of this going good in my life, I have just always felt something was missing; some greater sense of purpose.
So after many years of trying to find "What Next", and looking for something to give my life meaning I have returned time and time again to the idea of creating a community with like-minded people in order to live a simpler, self sustaining lifestyle through work and dedication to the same values. With that idea just circling over and over in my mind over the last decade (Originally a plan to make life more affordable for a small group of friends out of high school), I just couldn't let go of it. Letting my imagination run wild, I started by asking myself "What would my core values in a community be?"
To create an environment where people are free from the daily stresses that can lower quality of life.
-Finances (can i pay rent/electric/gas this week so that I may continue doing it next week?)
-Food stress. Too many people in the country go hungry for no reason. ( long term goals include starting/supplying soup kitchens in urban areas)
-The everyday RUSH to get to things, and the constant feeling you're working to improve someone else's life over your own.To provide a place where people can work together to produce food/shelter without trading all of their free time to maintain an unrealistic lifestyle.
To create a sense of community where people don't feel the constant need to compare and measure success from their bank accounts.
To build a technology connected low impact lifestyle that actively uses cryptocurrency for day to day operations and stays connected with an active online community. (Steemit/Personal web page/Other social media)
With all these things in mind, I decided it was time to subject my idea to outside review using an existing community of free-thinkers to help me refine/add to the idea pool.

I already own property and manage finances (Stocks, Real estate investments) so this is a serious endeavor for me, and as such we expect people to be committed to the project.
