About CO Elastos Rong Chen:Rong graduated from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 1982. He received a MS degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1987. Rong was a Microsoft veteran in the early days of the internet from 1992 to 2000. He collaborated in the development of a wide portfolio of projects at Microsoft, for example OS research, IE3 ActiveX, Ole Automation, ECOM, .NET. Rong founded his own company Kortide Corp in 2000 following his long-standing dream to create his own operating system: Elastos. After 17 years, Rong believes that the smart-web powered by the blockchain is the future for Elastos. He established the Elastos Foundation with partners in June 2017. 

Road map for 2018

• January 2018. Development and strategic cooperation with small companies in the production of mobile web applications.
• February 2018. The publication of Elastos Carrier is freely available. Completion of development and testing of Elastos ID.
• March 2018. Creation of Elastos Capital, which is aimed at supporting projects on the Elastos detachment.
• April 2018. Support for smart contracts.
• June 2018. The publication of the beta version of Elastos ID is freely available.
• August of 2018. Creation of the first mobile applications + introduction of airdrop.

MiningBitcoin's block is the main block, while Elsastos is the subsidiary for joint mining. • Da Hongfei from NEO and Jihan Wu from Bitamain were early investors and advisers of Elastos. According to the statements, Jihan Wu, for his part, intends to redirect the computing power from the Bitcoin mining to Elastos.
• G3 is a collaboration between NEO, Elasos and Bitmain, separating their visions of a decentralized economy and smart network. The key feature of the latter is the virtual machine, runtime and trust zone provided by Elastos and Bitmain, and working on NEO consensus using KYC Ontology service.
