Professional TCG player's take on the new blockchain powered TCG - Gods Unchained

Maybe you don't know yet that I started my Trading Card Game (TCG) career when I was 12 years old. I discovered Pokemon TCG and immediatelly fell in love with the concept of collecting and trading cards, and of course, playing with some of my best friends and winning a lot of amazing tournaments in my native country of Croatia. I was playing with the best of the best in my country and I enjoyed to the fullest. I later discovered another TCG - VS System, based on Marvel and DC comics. This one really stuck to me and I still play it today. I also played a bit of Magic and, as I don't like to admit it, that shitty yu-gi-oh game.
I loved the mechanics, the competition, the thrill and the friendship. I still love it and I play with my best buddies whenever I am in Croatia. There is something in those games that sticks to you forever, and I suppose its the possibility to create new decks and win all over again with a different strategy and powerful cards.
Although I stopped competing, officially, I never lost my touch for TCGs. At the same time, I ran into blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. This is how I stumbled upon Gods Unchained, a great new decentralised TCG with a lot of promises to deliver. It's made by Fuel Games and backed by amazing partners among which is also Coinbase!

Right now, the presale of the genesis set cards is underway. The game will officially launch towards the end of the year with a world championship tournament in early 2019. Better get your cards asap, right?

What do I think about it at this moment? I think it has a lot of potential as the gameplay looks really fun. I like the card design and the powers of a lot of cards in the genesis set. I like the giveaways that they have, of cards like Chimera. I like that they are promissing a future of great time spend for us TCG gamers. I love there is already a huge tournament planned to take place in which I will for sure compete. I love that the community is growing everyday and that I am going to be part of it.
I have to say that I never played anything similar online. I only played physical card games and I would love to see how this new concept will deliver on its promises. I am new to the blockchain world, which I know is to a lot of people still like science fiction, but actually, a game like this, brining some science fiction into the blockchain world is great!
