Thats a bit of a let down, I used coinbase once and I wasn't really all that impressed and moved my BTC to a hotwallet instead, I hardly ever leave crypto on an exchange unless im getting ready for a major cash out and that would only be for a few days.
You really cant trust these companies, if its not your keys dont take any chances, ive been burned before so I know
I have too. Last March major hack crypto related. Wreaked havoc in my life. Anyway after contacting support what i found out was it has to be approved on coinbase, your primary& BACKUP email. It didn't say that about backup email so i had to contact support.
