Cryptominer that heats your house - Qarnot’s QC - 1
You ever wondered how far the technology will go? What we are going to think of in order to make certain things better? May I present you.. the Qarnot QC 1 - unique crypto heater which heats your house and saves you money in the same time.

What is the QC - 1 ?
The QC-1 crypto heater is the natural extension of the Q.rad computing heater created in 2013 by Qarnot computing and that was internationally praised for its good design, technology and great environmental impact.
How is the heat generated ?
The company says that the heat of your QC-1 is generated by the 2 graphics cards embedded in the device and mining crypto-currencies or blockchain transactions: while heating, you create money.

What are the specs?
QC-1 has two Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 graphics cards that can mine at up to 60MH/s, which according to TechCrunch should be enough to make around $120 per month (€100) based on the current price of Ethereum.
The power it requires is 650W in total while (450W in mining mode + 200 in booster mode).

What is the interface like ?
The crypto heater is designed well and it can be setup in 10 minutes.It has a heating boost mode which we could turn on when we are feeling cold. We can as well monitor the crypto mining activities on the smartphone app built only for such purposes.

Conclusion
In my opinion this is a really unique idea. How well it is executed is yet to be known since I haven't used the crypto heater myself. If any of you readers plan to use this I'd like to know what the advantages and disadvantages are.How well the heater inside functions is what I'm really curious about since this could change how many companies function, companies that are located in countries where mining cryptocurrencies are allowed.
